Asphalt Hauling in Texas

Hot asphalt and emulsion, terminal to jobsite, since 1992.

Skinner Transportation is a family-owned Texas carrier that started in asphalt and never left it. We haul liquid asphalt binder and asphalt emulsion for paving contractors, refiners, terminals, and public infrastructure projects across Texas and the South.

Asphalt does not wait. When a plant is loading or a crew is laying mat, the load has to arrive on time and at temperature. That is the whole job, and it is the reason customers have stayed with us for more than three decades.

What We Haul for Paving Customers

Hot asphalt binder

Insulated tank trailers move liquid asphalt cement from refineries and terminals to hot mix plants and paving jobs, loaded and delivered at temperature.

Asphalt emulsion

Emulsions for tack coats, chip seals, and surface treatments, handled by drivers who know how the product behaves in the tank and at the spray bar.

Terminal to jobsite

Short shuttle runs and long regional pulls, scheduled around plant loading windows and paving crews that cannot sit idle.

Paving season surge

When the calendar tightens, we add trucks to a job rather than pushing a customer to the back of the line.

Texas Terminals Close to Your Job

Our terminal network keeps trucks near the plants and projects we serve, which shortens response time when schedules move.

Asphalt Hauling Questions

Who hauls hot asphalt in Texas?
Skinner Transportation has hauled hot asphalt and emulsion in Texas since 1992. We run insulated tanker equipment out of terminals in Austin, Temple, Waco, Ennis, Houston, Corpus Christi, Sinton, Pleasanton, Brownwood, and Big Spring, plus El Dorado, Arkansas and Tulsa, Oklahoma.
What kinds of asphalt products do you carry?
Liquid asphalt cement (binder), asphalt emulsions for tack and seal work, and related high-heat liquid products. We also haul chemicals, industrial liquids, and construction materials.
How is hot asphalt kept at temperature during transport?
It moves in insulated tank trailers, loaded hot and hauled without delay. Keeping the load on schedule matters as much as the equipment, so dispatch plans loading windows and drive time around the plant and the crew.
How far outside Texas will you run?
Beyond Texas we serve Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Missouri, and Kansas.
How do I get a quote for an asphalt haul?
Call (512) 389-0082 or (800) 446-6780, or email sti@skinnertrans.com with the product, origin, destination, and volume. Our dispatch team will tell you honestly what we can cover.
